GOING POSITIVE

I always wanted to be thin, and I worried about my weight all the time. I tried every new diet I read about online—no-fat, low-fat, only fruits—but I almost went bananas.

Then I read an article that changed my thinking. Instead of asking “Am I fat?” I started asking “Am I fit?” Rather than cutting out the foods I enjoyed, I added healthy foods to my meals. I began to work out three times a week—jogging, swimming, and doing push-ups. I set clear goals: I wanted to run two kilometres in ten minutes.
